Reviews of Stoneworkers & Stonemasons in Liverpool Area

Warbreck, L9

Under £250
Very small space between the house and the front wall collects water and needs to be levelled with concrete to ensure it drains properly. We also need the front step to be paved.
Contacted us straight away, quoted a fair price and arranged a date for the work right away. There was good communication on what was to be done and our questions were answered right away. We are very happy with the finished work, which is in fact better than we thought it would be. They clearly take pride in their work. Would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Unsold Job, Updated Details : I do not know if the brickwork would need rendering once the cladding is removed. Original : I live in a mid terrace house, that has stone cladding on the front of the building. Water is getting at some point and the plaster in my bay window is now being affected. I would like a quote to remove the cladding clean and treat the brick work.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. RICHARD WOULD LIKE INDIVIDUAL QUOTES FOR EACH JOB IN THE HOUSE, SO HE WILL BE ABLE TO SPREAD THE COSTS, so that he would be able to meet the demand of payments for all the jobs. PREVIOUS INFORMATION. To All Trades People Concerned, SUBJECT: URGENTLY LOOKING FOR FREE HOUSE REPAIRS QOUTES Richard, who has been renting his house out and is the landlord, but unfortunately his last tenant for no obvious reason, destroyed Richards house. Richard needs new doors or locks fixing, and other jobs doing such flooring, new kitchen, etc. He wishes to start with the locks or the doors to his internal doors of his house. Richard the landlord, needs his kitchen ceiling re-plastering, the kitchen walls re-plastering, the units removed and disposed off, the living room wall needs re-plastering. He needs the flooring removed and disposed of in environmental legal way with proof of legal disposal. He needs the front and back brick walls cleaned off paint and general environmental dirt. He wishes to have the loft done at a later stage but interested in getting in quotes and comparing the costs and other stuff. Richard, and another guy, has taken over COOPERATIVE C.E.R.P.A.T.S PROPERTIES (CCP) & COOPERATIVE C.E.R.A.T.S. ANIMAL RESCUES. (CCAR.) ideas, aims, and wishes to progress with this to continue to develop it into a business. They are in a better position to make the theoretical idea of CCP a reality and just need to get the house repaired. He has tenants waiting to move in, and would be grateful if you could offer Richard a free appointment for a quote. Again, like last time, if Richard and his friends are all happy with your work, price, etc, then I am sure they would be very happy to continue to employ your services for years to come if you wish and promote your company too, and also at the same time to donate to good causes via CCP profits. We thank you for your kind attention and time. We look forward to hearing from you in the near future if possible. Richard Mortimer. CCP & CCAR. Updated : Hoping to begin series of projects for this house, therefore chose the maximum budget from drop-down menu. Believe fixing Walls and roof to be first step, but unsure of extent of problem, and need advice as well as quotations. House is inhabited but we believe previous owner had some low-quality jobs completed in order to sell, e.g. re-wire, but left all old electric cabling in loft, tiling in downstairs bathroom has come off wall for the second time, despite us having damp-proofing re-done outside and being really careful about ventilation. External rear Walls get no direct sunlight and are covered in what was described to me as 'snot' (builder's term?). Also, concrete mortar been used to point, which I've been advised is not suitable for such old brickwork. We really want to get the fundamental jobs fixed so we can then proceed with internal jobs. Want roof space converted for storage, not living space. Local roofer, who has replaced loose tiles on occasion, has described the roof as being in good condition for its age. We want to improve it's insulation properties, as currently there's none, so want advice on best way to do this. Hope this further information helps in attracting tradespeople to this job. Original : Variety of jobs required, listed in what I think would be logical order. 1870 end-terrace house in Wavertree conservation area. End and rear walls are damp and in poor condition. Recent attempts at damp-proofing were unsuccessful, so advice required on what alternative action may be taken. Original slate roof is unlined and prone to leaks following high winds. Want to convert loft (which requires clearing of debris) and improve roof (advice required for this - possibly line it?). House is very cold in winter. Following walls and roof work, series of other jobs will be required, which may include: new heating system/boiler, kitchen and bathrooms. Therefore, budget approximation in "Next steps" is misleading. Depending upon cost, may have to delay the further internal jobs.
