Ive recently had laminate flooring put down in the lounge and a rectangular space has been left uncovered by the fireplace so we can lay down tiles or piece of stone/slate/marble. Nothing else required for fireplace. Simple job where somebody would need to come round, measure up, discuss ideas of what to do, then go away and come back for supply and install.
