Updated : We are happy to provide materials as long as we are given a list of what to order . Original : We need a bath stone church window repairing and fitting of wooden-framed double-glazed units.
Keith is very reliable, punctual and able to tackle any job that is thrown at him. He did an excellent job of restoring our chapel window which required extensive restoration of the Bath Stone. We would happily recommend him.Danielle

All walls surrounding an enclosed rear garden need to be rebuilt and a low wall built around an existing small garden to create a chipped stone area. The main walls are 130 year old stone structures and all three have collapsed, they measure approx. 8m, 4m, 8m with varying heights; the stones are of various shapes and sizes. One 8m wall has been completely removed to ground level already. The 4m wall seems very stable but is only approx. 40cm high and so needs to be built on. The remaining 8m wall is only half demolished and will probably need to be taken down to ground level. The main walls need to be rebuilt all to the same height, approx. 90cm, and there is enough stone already in the garden to do this. The style should suit the period of the house, similar to original front garden walls in the Mount Pleasant area of Swansea. One 8m wall will need to be tied to a neighbours 2m high breeze-block wall which is a little unstable itself. If possible, fence posts and a fence should be set in this wall to obscure the neighbour's wall above my new wall (as my wall will be 90cm and their's 2m). The low wall to contain the garden is less important and is approximately 7m long and 1.5m wide, and can be built using a large amount of old bricks or left-over stone to a height of 20-30cm. There is also a small area of the courtyrad which needs to be re- concreted. The back garden/courtyard is completely enclosed and so all remaining materials/rubbish will be buried under the stone chipped area or between the new walls and the neighbour's wall. As mentioned, there is stone and brick here, as well as approx. 1 tonne of sand and around 8 bags of cement. Additional sand, cement, chippings, should be included in your price. The property has just been converted to a licensed HMO (rental) and so the rear garden/courtyard needs to be presentable and be minimal maintenence. I would like this work to be completed within the next month. You will need to inspect the garden yourself first as it is quite a big job and hard to describe here. There are also some smaller jobs, such as fitting new drainage for kitchen and bathroom and repairing guttering, and even external painting, which I can pay extra for if you can do it.
