Unsold Job, Updated Details : We have a hardboard panel behind our bath/shower which encloses the drainage pipes. The panel is tiled but has now ceased to be waterproof. Remedial action has not permanently solved the problem of leaks. A plastic sheet is currently in place over the bath to prevent leaks into the cloakroom downstairs so the bath and shower are usable. We are sure that the only permanent solution to the problem is to replace the hardboard panel a more modern waterproof material which can then be retiled to match (if possible) the rest of the bathroom. Our advice from a builder was that a tiler should be able to undertake this work though some building and plumbing skills might be needed. Original : tiling on hardboard at back of bath where shower is needs replacing with waterproofing back.
Adrian rang on Sunday, viewed the work an hour later and arrived Monday 8.30am to start the work. Great response!Liz
Laying of 18m2 Floor tiles continuously through kitchen / pantry / hallway / bathroom. I already have the tiles 66cmx33) but no other materials.
The floor is currently quarry tiled, however a previous tradesman started this job and has laid self-levelling compound. I am concerned that the floor is not very level and that this will need to be repeated.
The house is part-renovated, so it should be easy to work around. The area is fairly straight-forward, however the pantry is a slightly lower floor.
Also considering having a tiled skirting in the kitchen an bathroom.
I would like an all-inclusive quote if possible and am ready to start asap.
James and his team did a fantastic job. Very happy with the quality of their work and professionalism throughout. James is very knowlegable and kept me completely informed throughout. Will definitely use again in the future. If only my other tradesmen were this reliable.John
