Replace bathroom tiling, existing went in a couple of years ago but cheap and porous and leak water down wall to ground floor if we have a shower
Daniel actually talked us out of re-tiling the bathroom. A simpler, proper mastic job around the bath did the trick. Very happy with the work and have already recommended him to a friendCarl
We need our bathroom tiles to be redone in the shower area
Robert approached our shower job with an impressive depth of knowledge and the level of his finished work was excellent. He stuck to his original estimate (which was very reasonable) even though the job became increasingly problematic for him. He also worked late into the night to ensure that it was finished by the deadline and was a very likable person to do business with.Kath
The bathroom is a small rectangular area approx 170cm x 125cm. The toilet is 'off the floor' so no need for cutting around awkward shapes! Also there are tiles forming a skirting so these would also need to be removed and replaced. The bathroom was refitted a few years ago but the limestone tiles haven't worn well. The floor underneath should be in a good condition to relay new tiles on.
Martin has done a very professional job for us. As well as being courteous, tidy and reliable, nothing was too much trouble. As well as doing what we requested, he rectified problems left by previous bathroom fitters. We are extremely pleased with his work and wouldn't hesitate to use him in the future. We would highly recommend him.Stephanie
Remove old tiling (both floor and wall) and existing shower unit in 'smallish' shower room. Re-tile and re-install better shower unit ensuring existing plumbing and drainage is sound - . We will choose the tiles and shower unit in consultation with you - and you would be happy to assist us with this prior to starting. We will be happy to pay a deposit but this will be small (but will of course include materials) - the full payment will be made once work is completed to a high standard and a fixed - agreed - timescale. There is a fitted wooden floor in the adjoining hallway and this must be protected. This room is downstairs only a few feet from the main door which should be of help. We will explore other quotes and this work cannot start until mid-March. Subject to satisfactory completion - we have a larger upstairs bathroom and you would be our first choice for the second job. The walls behind the existing tiling are mostly plasterboard. Please be patient in contacting us as we have flexible hours of work - E'mail will always be the best way to contact us. *The dates agreed for this work must be agreeable to you as I will take time from the office to be at home and these will be booked in advance*. We look forward to hearing from you.
