"Provided a quote then asked for VAT on top but no VAT registration on the paperwork. Instead of 3 days took 7 over a 2 week period. Took advice from other trades people who said time too long. Walked through the house with dirty work shoes. Put no coverings down on landing carpet. Didn't cover up any of the brand new fittings in the bathroom so everything covered in dried lumps of grout. Never finished the cleaning of the grouting. Obviously had never tiled before as it took him 2 days to work out how to prevent tiles slipping although he stated he had. Used a total of 7 extra large grout tubs, should only have been 2-3 after taking advice. Missed lots of areas for grouting. Took a call from his wife on his mobile which he put on speakerphone so we could all hear her demanding he leave the job & go home. Went round to my neighbour to ask where my microwave was to heat up his food."
