Updated : The job is to tile on top of existing tiles in a bathroom. The area is approx 10 square metres. We will provide the tiles. We will remove all bathroom fittings before the job starts (toilet, sink etc). Tiler to provide the adhesive suitable for tile-on-tile. Existing tile work is sound. Nic tiled my mothers bathroom for us last week and did a very good job. He ws very friendly, polite and hard working. I would not hesitate to recommend him. He even popped back a couple of tiles that had fallen off my mums kitchen wall which was very kind of him.

I'm looking for a tiler to remove the old tiling from my bathroom walls, make good as required to then retile the wall with tiles I will provide. I'm also looking for floor tiles to be laid in the bathroom at the same time, the boarding on the floor may need to be replaced as some parts were damaged lifting the old floor tiles. I'm happy to show a tradesman what work is required (and would probably suggest looking at the work first), but do require an estimate prior to commencement of any work.
Graham was a really friendly and professional tiler with a real eye for detail with nothing rushed. His focus was on doing a first class job which anyone would be proud of and the finish he achieved was superb. He dealt with unexpected challenges such as a leaking pipe that was hidden behind old tiling and plasterwork which had caused extensive damage with no fuss. He involved us when decisions needed to be made, but made suggestions based on his experience to help us make an informed decision. We would not hesitate to either recommend Graham, or to use him personally in the future again.

Water is coming from the ensuite shower. We had some cracks in the grout so we have resealed and regroutted the tiles but water is still coming through. The water appears more when someone is in the shower moving rather than just letting the shower run.
We had a leak from our ensuite shower. With Richard's expert knowledge he was able to diagnose the problem quickly and advise us of the best way forward. With Richard's guidance we decided to re-tile the whole shower area, this totally changed the original job; we required the job to be completed within a short period of time. Richard took this onboard and completed the job to an extremely high standard within the required time. The price quoted was very competitive; coupled with the professionalism and the 'can do' attitude it made the nightmare of our unknown leak more bearable. We were delighted with the finished outcome and we will be using Argyle Joinery again for more home improvements. We would be pleased to recommend Argyle Joinery to anyone.

We have tiles coming away from the wall in our power shower, requiring replacement. Area would require approx. 6-8 m2 of new tiles.
We chose Robert because he gave us a reasonable quote, knowledgeable and very personable. Robert proved to be a great choice as he completed the job ahead of schedule and on budget. We plan to call on him in future should we ever need a conscientious and trustworthy professional.

Job started with one wall finished! 1 wall has been tiled but is squint!! Would need to be taken off and re-started, making 2 walls to be completed & floor to be tiled. Walls approx 5.5sqm Floor approx 2.35sqm. All large tiles i.e approx 5 and a half down and 4 and a half across.
Ian was everything you hope a tradesperson is going to be. He was reliable, his time-keeping was exceptional and he completely respected my property - cleaned up after every days work and covered my carpet/belongings. Nothing was too much trouble and to top it all off, the end job was fantastic and the lowest quote I received. It's nice to see this type of reliable tradesperson is still out there!! :o)

I am just about to move into a new house and I want my bathroom walls tiled, not sure of the exact measurements but would probably say in total it would average 20sqm. I want 1 full wall tiled at the bath and the remaining 3 to be tiled half way up. Preferably just plain white tiles on the full wall and black plain tiles on the remaining walls.
