Updated : Hands on tilers with several ratings only, please (no contractors). Original : I'm looking for the following work to be completed in a North Belfast 3 storey Victorian terrace... For definite... Bathroom floor - approx 5 sq meters total, but approx 1 sq meter of that taken up by shower tray already fixed in position, so approx 4sq meters to be tiled over plywood. Haven't bought tiles yet, but probably approx 30 cm sq. Bathroom walls - already tiled floor to ceiling with not great quality B&Q 25 x 20 cm white ripple tiles. I don't want to rip them all out and start again, but due to movement of fixings and damage during renovation, approx 20-30 tiles need replacing herre and there. Bit of a fiddly job. Kitchen walls - area between lower and upper kitchen units, approx 4 sq m in total around 3 walls, including thin strip under window. Slightly uneven surface to work on in places. Again, don't have ties yet. Willing to go with whatever size is easier to work with in space. Hearth areas of fireplace on ground floor and first floor need tiling to replace broken and removed original Victorian tiles, possibly with slate or slate look or similar. This bit I need some consultation on - Dining room floor and adjoining cupboard under stairs floor - approx 13 sq meters in total. Currently quarry tiled uneven floor. Would like to cover with tiles or real stone and level out if possible. Recent-ish damp proofing course seems to have been put in walls above level of existing tiles, so would like to discuss damp proofing options for floor OTHER than digging it out. Planning to sell house on, and working with budget restrictions. Don't want to leave future buyers with a quick fix covering a nasty surprise, but don't want to break the bank either. Would like quotes for above work, broken down per job. Bathroom is fairly urgent.. would prefer next week if possible. Rest can wait a little longer.
Howard has a very easy-going and flexible approach. I needed him to tile over some uneven surfaces and - in the bathroom - match new tiles with some existing tilework that wasn't of the highest quality. Through no fault of his own, the jobs didn't really give him the opportunity to shine at his brightest, but he still managed to do a good, solid job.

Following a leak we had wall tiles reapplied but still need to be grouted. Broken floor tile needs to be replaced and ceilings in 3 rooms to be repainted.
Work to a very high standard, clean and tidy, competitive prices - wouldn't hesitate to use him again, finally we have found a reliable handyman!! Will be recommending to friends etc!!

a new shower is being fitted so the wall needs tiles replaced were the old ones have been removed. The bath also needs sealed and tiles replaced around the bath
