When Jim came round to quote me on the work needing done he was friendly, easy going and professional. He catered for all the work needing done and quoted me a fair price. To tile small bathroom (1.85m x 1.85m excl windows and doors). Tiles already purchased but adhesive and grout is still required. Please quote costs for this seperately.
The tradesperson was very polite, a really nice guy but completely unreliable. He called to cancel on two seperate occasions (which to some extent were outwith his control - one was due to a bereavement and the other due to his car breaking down). He finished significantly early on day 1 due to a sprained ankle, turned up significantly late on day 2 (after 12.30) because he had been at the doctors and the bank. Turned up late on day 4 and 5 and on day 6 chose to watch a football match despite having agreed to be here at 12pm (he turned up 5 hours later after I had contacted him to find out why he hadn't arrvied as agreed). Whilst the job itself was mostly satifactory there were key areas that the job just wasnt up to standard. As a result I had to do a patch job with some uPVC to 'hide' a dodgy title. If you don't look too closely the job looks fine but the awkward areas are definitely below par (some areas haven't even been tiled because they were too awkward e.g. behind sink pedestal). Mastik was also plastered everywhere which has involved a lot of scrubbing and scraping to remove. Value for money I believe was ok, tiled the whole bathroom including supplying grout and adhesive for �£400. Came in within budget and stuck to his prices. I doub't I'd use him again though.

Removing approx 14 sq meters of floor tiles and re-tiling same area. Removing approx 4 sq meters of splash back tiles and re-tiling. Both areas are within the kitchen
Fantastic job. Quality of tiling was excellent as was attention to detail. The end product was of the highest quality. Tiler was reliable, trustworthy, meticulous, tidy and all this at a very competitive price
