Nick's quote was very reasonable (no hidden extras) and he is a very hard worker and managed to get our job done in a short time frame (which meant working over a bank holiday). He was very reliable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others. Catriona
I want to remove a bath and replace it with a walk-in shower. Shower already installed and the house is only 4 years old. Most of the work will be making good the tiling.
Visited to measure up then never contacted againSimon
We have failed grouting in our bathroom. It has crumbled away and is now leaking water through to the next floor. The house is only three years old so I think inferior grouting was used as well as not sealed properly. The floor area is only about 2m X 1m max. We would also need the ceiling of the floor below repainted (two small areas). It has all dried out already.
Rico was really great. Quote really detailed and no loast minute surprises. Work was to a high standard. He was punctual and tidy.Christina
Kitchen needs finishing off. Tiling between workflow and cupboards. Tiles purchased.
Rob did an amazing job of our kitchen tiling and my husband and I were ever so impressed at the quality of Rob's work. We will definitely be using him again in the future and would highly recommend him. 10/10. Victoria
John is trustworthy and reliable. He makes sure he does a good job and wont cut corners. He moved a radiator, put in extra plug sockets and decorated the room. All done to a good standard I would recommend him to my friends and will use him again.claire
Very punctual on time keeping. Tiled a large bathroom and sep wc floor and walls. Workmanship was excellent and easy to get along with. Was able to cope with unexpected difficulties and came out right on quotation price. Would highly recommend Meik for your tiling work.Michael
Bathroom walls and floor to be tiled. Old half tiled walls will need smashing off first!
Room only small, approx 6ft x 7ft.
Lovely company to deal with. Have already recommended them to family and friends.
They were right on time everyday, and made sure they left me with a working bathroom at the end of each day. The tiling has come up brilliantly and has made my bathroom!
Would definitely use them again. Jo

We would like quotes for the tiling of a new kitchen extension and utility room. We will have a solid concrete floor and the area will be approx 25 square meters. The kitchen will be fitted afterwards so it will be an empty box.

Bathroom area 170x170cm. Tiles to be supplied are 30x30cm.
The WC outlet goes into the floor so a hole would have to be cut.
The floor at present is laminated and sits on old quarry tiles. The laminate floor will be removed together with the WC before starting the job.
Updated : I forgot to clarify that I will supply the tiles FOC, but the quote should include for all additional materials i.e grout, adhesive, trim and sealant etc.
Should have obviously read 'I'm' at the beginning of the original description and not 'I' !
Regards
James Original : I after a quote to re-tile our bathroom.17.3m2 of tiling on the walls and 3.0m2 on the floor, with wooden floor boards beneath.
I will remove the existing tiles and prepare the walls.

In a new-build house, 3.6 sq metres of wall tiling in bathroom - to enlarge currently tiled area to allow for an over-bath shower. Matching tiles have already been ordered, 7mm thick, gloss glazed wall tiles. These can be precut if necessary, though very little cutting is involved.
Also installation of shower screen and pole to hold the mixer head.

Hi
I would like a small amount of ceramic floor tiling done as soon as possible.
In all we have two/three bathrooms that need floor tiling, but if you only had time to do one (this Saturday if possible) that would be great as we have guests soon and I would quite like the dodgy downstairs loo’s carpet to be replaced with ceramic floor tiles ... which I would purchase. If this Saturday is not possible, then please let me know the earliest you would be able to carry out this work. I can send images if that helps. Please also let me know the approximate cost and timescale for fitting the tiles and what materials you would need me to provide, apart from the tiles of course!
The rough dimensions of the various bathrooms are, in metres:
1.6 x 1.4 toilet
1.2 x 1.1 bathroom/toilet
1.8 x 1.6 bathroom/toilet
Thank you,
Roger Lakhani
