"We went with Martyn as even though he had no rating because our joiner had no ratings but was very good, We have soon regretted it. Well where can I start, we had three quotes, Martyn was the second cheapest however he could start work straight away and as we needed to move in immediatley, From the moment he set foot in our property to work he began to whine, he complained about the work of the others, we left him to work as we did the others before, He came to be paid and as our son was knocked over by a car the day before, we were more preoccupied with getting the house ready for him. Propmtly at 8am he came to be paid,as I was busy he was paid by my husband. It was not until he left, that I went in to find he had not grouted or siliconed areas that needed to be done. When I called him he got very defensive to say siliconing after he had tiled was not a part of the price and that he was not about to come back after a day to silicone it. He then began to say he did a lot for me in the price for example advised complaining about the joiners and plumbers work. We received a quote and it was accepted. The plumber will kindly finish off his work. Once we are settled we will post photos of the unfinished work, You determine for yourself whether or not you would like to pay for work. Who tiles and does not waterproof it, who quotes a price and then does half the job? I would not recommend him and would warn his customers to stand over him and make sure he completes his work to a professional standard. "

"I have not had a chance to respond to this as I have been ill. I was going to start by adding photos, but after seeing that he still only had one customer I am not surprised. If we were happy with the work why would we leave poor feedback. Not even worth responding to, we are beginning to wonder was going on this website worth it .......Its a good thing all the work has been completed and we hope we wont ever need to search for a tradesperson again. If you find a decent one they are worth their weight in gold, stay clear of this one, he aint worth it "
