Hi.
We have had a leaking toilet on and off for a while now. I'm pretty sure I know what the problem is (it's the inlet pipe on the cistern that keeps working a little bit loose over time - especially when used a lot like over the Xmas period with many guests in the house). I have tightened it up but this time it's still leaking and rather than do a bodge job (which I usually do) - I'd like to get this looked at properly as I'm not convinced that the correct bolt was used when this was installed in the first place as the thread does not look like it is far enough on.
I'm hoping this is a pretty quick and simple job so perhaps would work for someone who is in my area (Tilehurst, Reading) for another job and can pop in. I would also really like to get this looked at either Thursday (ideal as I'm at home) or Friday of this week if at all possible as I am away on business nect week and don't want to leave my wife to have to sort this.
Many thanks, Jonny
Prompt, efficient, polite. Would use again if needed.Jonny
Remove old toilet and replace with new toilet - Labour only
Very friendly and honest, didn't want a penny till the job was completed, paid attention to ensure his work was of a high standard. I would recommend Bash as an excellent and honest trader.HusainHusain
To replace old suite with new white suite (probably from B&Q).
Bathroom is quiet small (approx 5m by 1.5m).
Would need tiling (white tiles with 1 line of border tiles) and possibly plastering too but not painting/flooring/decorating I can do that.
I am really pleased with my new bathroom. It has a high quality finish. Damion was very professional and worked quickly and efficiently.Louise
I need a Potterton Promax HE boiler serviced.
I also have a problem, think it's with the programmer, If you turn on the heating then the hot water will just keep boiling and not turn off. I have had to turn off the heating as it over rides the thermostat and keeps the rads hot even on warm days!
I have been let down by two plumbers not turning up - so please only contact me if you really want the job!!!
Kevin called shortly after I posted my job, arranged to come the next day, turned up on time, completed the job, and charged what he said he would. He also helped with another problem and talked me through what was actually wrong.
I have his number if anything else goes wrong so I guess that's recommendation enough!!Dean
Small job - kitchen sink blockage in top floor flat of 3 storey block. Town centre - Kings Road, Reading.
An excellent service and very flexible regarding convenient times to carry out work, including evening and weekend. The job turned out to be more severe and require more work, time and visits than initially anticipated, but was still undertaken within the quoted price. Highly recommended.Martin

Unsold Job, Updated Details : I'd like someone to come round and assess the work please Original : I have an Grohe Avensys (classic) shower - part number 34032 which no longer works due to a botched plumbing job when trying to cure it of a constant dribble. The shower inlets have been capped since the valve no longer stems the flow of water at all.
I need the inlet pipes reconnected to the pump including quality isolation valves. I need to be able to isolate another shower which is also connected to the same pump. The existing mixing valve needs to be fixed or replaced.
Access to the replacement is only through the hole in the shower left when you remove the existing valve. You can't get at it from the back.
The mixing valve then needs to be sealed etc to ensure that water does not go behind it.
Looking on the internet a replacement for the mixing valve can we bought for around £250.
I also need various taps around the houese reseated etc to stop them dribbling.
Thanks

I want to find a good, reliable local plumber who is experienced in installing bathrooms including tiling, plastering, painting and disposing of the old suite.
We already have a bathroom plan with details of units, suites, taps etc (currently from Graham's). We do want a power shower fitted as well and know which one we would like, we also want a towel warmer fitter. We already have a quote for this work and would like to see how much other quotes would come in at before making a final decision on which plumber to use.
The quote we currently have includes buying most of the bathroom at trade prices aswell as labour. The only things we would be buying are the shower, the taps and possibly the towel warmer. We are looking to have this work carried out around February 2013.
