Unsold lead, updated details: This is just a repair to replace the broken external flue and I already have the replacement part. Not sure of the budget cost until I have a realistic quote Original: To replace broke external boiler flue with a new one that has already been bought
Very impressed with Paul he quoted a very reasonable price to complete the work against British Gas. Attended as agreed and then gave a solution to resolve the problem with less disruption and at half the price. Would use him again and recommend him to others.
Urgent and serious. Heating and hot water completely dead. Westco Type 6-3 W pump leaking water, whole system not working. Pump been intermittent all week. Urgently needs fixing - have a one year old, and we're worried about water leak and proximity to electrics, plus we have no heating or hot water. See attached photos. Thanks
Very pleased with service. Patrick was quick to respond and explained war he was doing every step of the way. Will use again. Recommended.
9 of the fence panels in our garden fence have deteriorated with age and need replacing
The 2 gates either side of the house are sticking and need adjusting so that they can be opened and closed easily
James was easy to talk to and up front and honest. He quoted a good price for the fence panels and fixing the gates and did the work quickly and well
Install 1 x basin, 1 x bath, 2 x taps Customer will supply: bathroom suite Additional information: I would just like the old bath and sink removed and the new ones installed, I already have the new bath and sink and taps.
I had new guttering installed as part of a house extension 9 months ago. The recent bad weather has since raised an issue with the angle of the guttering at the front of the house. It has caused standing water. I think i have located the issue which is a joint near the corner of the house which looks to be falling the wrong way. I would like a quote to correct the fall angle of the guttering.
Services required: Find and repair a leak damp area on landing wall has been previously looked at by a builder who was working at property. Area has got larger - it;s an internal wall below loft - chimney stack in loft above it.
I would just like a small radiator disconnecting from the hallway to make more room.
Replace tap(s) i have a set of taps that i need changing. the ones on are old and one drips so we have purchased a new set and needs these fitting. also, the cistern in the same toilet isnt working correctly. the screw thread that operates the valve from the ballcock isnt staying where it should and keeps moving, meaning the cistern is over filling. think it probably needs a new thread or someway of stopping it moving once positioned.
The kitchen tap is leaking. British gas homecare took a look at replacing the washer but advised it was a non- standard part - not a washer but a small section of a disc? The tap is from IKEA and the engineer advised that there are 100s of possible " washer type" parts that it could be and as British gas don't carry the parts as a consequence.
I would like the leak on the tap fixed if possible please?
Install appliance Seeking a qualified plumber to unpackage & install a new freestanding dishwasher (Bosch SMS58E32GB) in the kitchen. The dishwasher has arrived, is still in it's packaging and is ready now. It is a replacement machine and the old one has been removed. The water pipe that it needs connecting to has been capped off. I will help with the unpackaging, so this should be a quick and easy standard job - I imagine around 15 mins effort would do the trick to someone who knows what they are doing. Pipe work is already in place
1. to move radiator from current wall to another wall. 2. Replace a new water tap in kitchen. 3. Install a new shower system in shower cubic. 4. Install a wire or wireless thermal controller for Combi boiler.
welcome for your quoates
I have a steady drip of water coming through the ceiling above the stair-well; about a bucket full in the last12 hours. I know the hot water tank is located pretty much directly above where it is leaking through the ceiling. Its a 1970`s detached house with the usual trap door access - no floor boarding in the attic, just the rafters to climb on. There is an over-flow pipe outside, but there is no sigh that it is discharging water because the concrete path below it is dry.
Leaking toilet Leak is from the base of the water tank on the toilet. I can see mould on the underside and it is leaking at a rate that soaks 2 hand towels a day. The source of the leak is visible The source of the leak is easily accessible
