1) Fix leaking tap.
2) fix leaking shower (at small pipe that fits under plug hole).
3)change plug in basin to push type.
Ben called immediately and came round and priced the job before leaving and getting the necessary items. He came straight back and started work. The job was completed the same day as we had requested a tradesman . The bathroom was left immaculate and we were entirely satisfied - would use RatedPeople again.
My toilet flush isn't working property- it takes a few hours after a flush before it can flush again.
Pleasure to deal with- fixed my toilet flush the day after we made contact, as arranged, and also nipped out during the job to get an obscure part, before coming back in good time to finish. Flush now works perfectly.
Our water main shut-off is situated out in the street and shared with our upstairs neighbour. I would like to install an internal shut-off valve on our own water supply.
Also I need some disused water feeds removed (for a washing machine previously used in a different location) and the existing water-feeds to the boiler and current washing machine re-installed more effectively to save space.
Robert arrived when he said and worked into the early evening until the job was finished. Quality work at the price he quoted. I will use him again.
Toilet's flush pipe needs replaced. Pipe originally fitted was cut too short and began to leak. Fixed temporarily but requires replaced. Pipe and cistern are boxed in behind a tiled unit but they are accessible.
very friendly, good communication and reasonably priced.
Hot water - heating I don't have hot water from my taps. Radiators are heating up. Make of boiler: Biasi Additional information: British gas engineer visited. Thinks is plumbing problem - possible blockage of DHW pipe tee piece?
Blocked toilet Toilet hasn't been flushing well for a week. Blocked yesterday. Tried caustic soda & plundger. Now worse. Was previously clean water in bowl. Now waste.
Remove 8 radiators from walls in rooms, move the radiator pipes from a hole in the wall (currently approximately in the middle of the radiator) to the top of the skirting board, fill hole in plasterboard wall where the pipes currently are (thereby getting rid of the enormous draft in every room that has a radiator), put the radiators back on the walls.
Install 1 x basin, 1 x bath, 1 x cabinet, 1 x electric shower, 1 x extractor fan, 1 x heated towel rail, 1 x shower cubicle, 1 x tap, 1 x toilet Other services required: tiled flooring, plastering, wall tiling Customer will supply: bathroom suite, electrical fittings, tiles, flooring Additional information: none at the moment
Leaking sink and appliance Leak is in a store room, looks like from wags pipe but no sure The source of the leak is visible The source of the leak is easily accessible
Install sink I would like to know if it's possible (or how expensive it would be) to move the kitchen sink from the back wall to the middle of the room. I am looking to replace the kitchen soon and need to know where to put the sink. Pipe work will need to be installed
My wife and I live in a Georgian property. The existing radiators are of an insufficient size and quantity for the size of the rooms and therefore we would like to replace a number of the existing radiators and install new ones.
We are likely to want to install radiators more in keeping with the property's heritage, so possibly cast iron (or imitation ones).
We have taken sizes of the rooms but have not yet ordered new radiators as we wanted to obtain some professional advice before doing so. I am looking to get advice on the next steps and a quote for assisting with installation of the new radiators.
