Replacement of existing downpipe to front of property in Prescot. Downpipe to be in Aluminium and black finish with end piece.
Benchmark gave a quick response and an acceptable quote which was agreed. The work appears very good and they seem a really reliable company to deal with. The job was to fit a drain pipe in cast aluminium, there was some confusion however as Benchmark fitted an extruded aluminium pipe which is quite different even though my web instruction was for cast aluminium. Benchmark did apologise and offered to do my next job with a reduction as compensation. This could have been an oversight on their part. The problem here is actually not seeing the company at the job and re-iterating the requirements. Overall job done quickly and well so will use them again but will make sure my instructions are clear.
