my water is no longer heated. i think the thermostat needs repairing
i dealt with a chap called john, but cannot recall which compay he worked for. however, his solving of my problem was swift, to say the least! i am thoroughly satisfied that, if he worked for the hammerstone company; the company hits all the targets in this recommendation!stephen
I have replaced my old electric shower unit with an electric Triton trance 2. However the unit leaks slightly and needs repositioning about 2cms to the right. This is beyond my capability as a pipe fitting would need replacing (possibly).
Also, when I run it, the water pressure light goes on. I did check both the Kw rating 9.5 and minimum pressure 1 bar, both of which I have.
Basically, come and make my shower work!
Chris turned up when he said he would. Very knowledgeable and friendly. He double checked the shower, found the source of the problem and fixed it quickly and efficiently. I would certainly recommend him to others and use him again.Russell
2 gutters cleaning front and back standard house, one gutter is leaking at one side as it is slanted therefore will require repair. A third of the back gutter has a conservatory underneath therefore difficult to gain ladder access probably best with one of them extendable gutter cleaners.
Brilliant, turned up within minutes of posting the request, looked at job and quoted and did it there and then. No messing about, just cracked on with job and job done perfect with no mess. Would highly recommend. Gavin

I have recently noted a small stain on my bedroom ceiling (around the size of a football). I have a Yorkshire Stone roof and have never had any problems before but assuming it must be leaking in slightly. I have had a look from the ground and can't see any slipped / missing tiles so I am assuming the rain is getting under somehow?

Ensuit toilet in block of flats on 4th flour is not flushing with any force so not clearing the bowl. It has previously been looked by caretaker who plunged and rodded it which temporarily eased problem. After a period of not using it, brown sludge is back in the bowl. When flushing the water rises slightly up the bowl. We have tried regularly plunging it without succcesss.

The garden has an area currently with gravel and a slight slope. I would like the gravel removed then have the area leveled then turfed. The steepness of the slope possibly means that a small wall will need to be built to make the area level. I would say the area is about 4 by 5 meters squared, but haven't actually measured it. There are also two stumps/small trees which need removing, a tree which needs pollarding and a bay tree which could do with cutting back a bit. At this stage I'm interested to get some quotes as I have no idea what it would cost, and possibly would have to do the work in stages. With getting rid of the gravel and turfing that area being the priority.
