1. Replace double glazed panel in upstairs window (master bedroom). I think panel has lost its vacuum and glass is now clouded. Current unit is the small panel in the top centre of the casement and is leaded in a diamond design. 2. Check remainder of windows in house to ensure they are closing and sealing properly. There are 7 windows requiring this check: 5 upstairs & 2 downstairs.

I need a UPVc window to be installed. I have the window and fixings but am unable to install the window. I will have the old window removed when I know someone is going to fit. It needs to be fitted from the inside as it is on the second story of a town house. It is in the bathroom and has the basin in front of it so not the easiest to fit. I have many other windows and doors that need fitting so could be much more work in future dependent on workmanship and price.
He arrived on time, had all the right tools and did a good job.

Updated : Estimated final size for replacement uPVC unit would be approx 1680 x 2180 Original : Wish to remove old wooden framed window at rear of 1950's semi detached house and replace with outward opening uPVC french door. Would include removal of brickwork (double skin) under window to make suitable for door and supply and fit of french door unit and sill. I would be happy to do the internal finishing myself (not required for job).
French door quality, fittings and finish are fantastic. Sean and his team were very thorough, catered for all my requests and value for money is great. Would recommend to anyone.

I have no specific brand in mind for this one window but it may not be a standard size and there will be a bit of making good to nearby plaster caused by recent ingress of water.
I have no hesitation in recommending M G General Builders. I'm sure it was not easy replacing the original rooflight with a Velux window - not least because nothing is 'square' here!! Mark and his son worked quickly, professionally and left everything very tidily. I thought his price was very reasonable for the amount of work involved. It is great to come across this friendly and reliable builder and hope he will be able to do more jobs for me before too long!

2 of the panes on my double glazed windows have moisture within them and therefore (I assume) need replacing. One is on and opening window and one isn't - please contact me if further information is required.
He came round to take measurements when he said he would, gave a reasonable quote and then came back a week later to fit the panes. Very friendly and obviously knows what he's talking about - what more could I ask for?
