The four wood-framed windows on the front of the house are in need of attention. At least some repairs are needed to the frames, and they all need new putty, wood treatment and painting. They are 1960s windows, some panes opening. Two are normal size, two are narrow bathroom and toilet windows. I need to know whether they can be repaired or need to be replaced.
Excellent job at an appropriate price. Friendly people, competent job done without delay. Very impressed.

currently i get a lot of mould and condensation on the sides of the window frames in the bedrooms.They are dormer windows. The internal glass of the windows were changed 14 months ago as advised. The windows frames UPVC are more than 10 years old. Would like to know whether to change the overall windows and have proper fitting windows to avoid the MOULD and condensation problem. There is a draught coming through the window, not sure due to what. The facias and sofits were done a year ago but would that be a problem as well.
Came out and had a look at the job in Dec and still awaiting details regarding the quote. Had to find another tradesman.

The seals on the UPVC windows have gone and are now misty and full of condensation. There are about 10 panes of varying sizes that need replacing.

Peter quoted a very competitive price, always replied to any phone calls, arrived when he said they would,completed the job quickly and efficiently, made very little mess, and the quality of the work and the frames they used were excellent. I cannot find any fault from start to finish, and cannot recommend them more highly.

I have a UPVC Conservatory with a roof of Polycarbonate panels. There are a few leaks in the roof when it rains and I would like to have them repaired.

We have a double panel sitting room patio door arrangement with the left panel that slides and the right panel that is fixed. The right panel has lost it's airtight integrity and is full of condensation. The space occupied by the panels is approx' 12ft by 7ft and we are looking at changing the entire space to panels and door or just replacing the blown panel. Quotes please for both options.

We are looking for a new front and back door, composite GRP (preference) or uPVC dependant on price. We would want the the doors fitting. For the front door we need a letterplate and knocker and would need the handle on the left as you look at the door from the front (hinged on the right). For the back we want a stable door, again in composite GRP but this would need to be hinged on the left. We would need new frames for both doors. We would need both doors to have some glazing - a half moon for the front and a square for the top part of the stable at the back. Our house is a 1930s semi and the main front door is actually to the side of the property. If quotes are acceptable we would be looking for work to start as soon as possible as we are due to have the exterior of the property re-rendered early in February.

I fitted a white fibreglass decorative front door surround - but it has gaps between the surround iteself and the white door frame that need filling to make it look right. The gaps are a couple of inches and will need some kind of white plastic pieces putting in place to make the whole thing look like one piece and to cover brickwork etc.
