Repair:- A ground floor window has a broken pane that needs replaced please.
1 foot by 18 inches in size roughly.
The glazier arrived very quickly after my initial posting. This was great as a broken window at street level is quite a worry. He had the right materials with him and the job was soon done plus a little extra work to the window that we arranged once he was here.
I'd contact this tradesperson again if I had window problems.
The price may have been better than I've rated it but I have nothing to compare it with as I got no other quotes for this job.Linda
I need trickle vents fitted to two double glazed windows to try to reduce the condensation build up in the flat.
Craig Robertson was very friendly and helpful to deal with. He went out to look at my property and assess the job and advised me that I probably need to contact a damp proofing specialist. I really appreciated his honesty rather than selling me services that wouldn't actually fix the problem. I'll definitely consider using him in the future.Tommy
We have plastic / pvc white framed double glazed windows which open 3 different ways using a handle. The windows were put in in around 2006 / 2007. Two windows (one in the lounge and one in the kitchen) are not closing properly and wind / rain is coming in through the gaps.
I was very impressed with Bill who fixed two of my windows at top speed and for great value yesterday. He was a pleasure to speak to, reliable and did a great job. I would definitely recommend this company. Jane
Window to left bay window should open from top with one quarter turn of the handle and fully (inward) with another quarter turn but currently only opens fully. Window in master bedroom has the same problem but also doesn't close properly.
Arrived when they said they would, not much needed doing to the windows but the price reflected this. Satisfied with the job.Russell
I have several windows which need to be repaired and I have one bedroom on a busy road and would like either a double glazed window or secondary glazing put in. It's a conservation area so can't be upvc.
George was v helpful and completed the work to a high standard. His prices are very fair too. Thank you!Becky
3 windows approx 95 x 180 cms (1 bathroom) to be renovated or replaced w
I wanted 3 sash & case windows made wind and watertight and I wasn't sure whether they would need to be replaced or if it was possible to renovate them. Andrew quickly assessed that they were not in too bad condition and that he would renovate them. He priced the job competitively, arrived when he said he would and carried out the job quickly and efficiently. I am very pleased with the results and I wouldn't hesitate to recommmend him to anyone looking for a friendly, imaginative and professional joiner. Richard

Our back door is double glazed and when the lawn was being mowed a stone has pierced the glass on the exterior side which has completely fractured but is so far intact.
- It's a uvpc type double glazed door.
- The glass is 183 height x 45.5 cm width.
- The glass on the interior side is fine.
Looking to have someone replace the glass with the appropriate materials for double glazed replacement.

I would like the single glazed glass replaced with double glazing in my period flat. There are 2 small windows and a set of French doors. I would like to keep the existing frames and instead fit with a product like Slimlite low emissivity double glazed panels. The windows are not painted and I would like to keep the wood good without much need for filling, but if there is the need to fill and sand I would like the finish to be good at the end. As this is a rental flat I would also like the flat to be returned to a tidy state at the end of the job. The flat is in the Leith area of Edinburgh
