Job Hi there. In our flat we have four sash windows which either need refurbishing or replacing completely (3 are large windows about 1.5 meters square and the last one is a small half-window 1.5 m x 0.3m – these measurements are very approximate just to give you an idea...) In the winter time it becomes very cold and draughty throughout the flat (especially in one room inparticular) purely and simply because the windows are old and not doing their job properly ? we have tried replacing the draught excluder seals ourselves, but it hasn’t helped too much!! We don’t really know what options are available to us – we want to do a really good job – so may opt for a complete replacement – and here again, we don’t know all the options available to us. I think that Iwould personally opt for a wooden frame sash window, but definitely double glazed this time. Please would you contact me to organise a visit/measure/advise session/quote. Comment We had our windows fully renovated and the glass replaced with double glazing. Rudolf worked with high standards and always communicated poiltely and clearly about what was going on. Our ONLY concern was that it took much longer than we hoped - 3 weeks compared to 1 week; nontheless, when the boys were here they worked VERY hard indeed OVER ALL - OUR WINDOWS NOW FUNCTIONS SMOOTHLY AND LOOK GREAT!! Job Victorian house converted into four owner-occupied flats. Original sash windows (approx 16) in poor condition; some painted shut. Some require epoxy resin/sliced repairs.

Budget I'm not sure

Job Two wooden windows at ground level at the rear of my flat are rotten and need to be replaced. I would like to replace them with either wooden/pvc windows and would prefer double glazing in order to improve insulation, but would like to ascertain the cost of the various options before proceeding.
