Unsold Job, Updated Details : Hi, am going to fix the rotting door myself now so only need the 2 panes of glass replaced now Original : We have some external bay doors which are rotting in areas and have a blown pane (approx 52 x 53cm) so are in need of some restoration. We also have one large (approx 108cm x 104cm) blown pane in an aluminium framed window that needs replacing.
Woody exceeded expectations with the quality of his workmanship and attention to detail when restoring our external french doors. A couple of areas he could improve on would be; clarity of the quote as there were a few extras that would have been good to know about at the start (such as delivery charge for the glass). He could also improve his punctuality. The job took him a fair bit longer than anticipated, but he had given a fixed quote for the time taken.

Original large central sash window has loose glass in the lower sash. Window is a front bay window in a raised ground floor Victorian Terrace in South London (SW2). The base of the window is approximately 2 to 3m above main external ground although there is a wide (circa 400mm) window cill to the base of the bay. Easy access from internally. Top sash is painted shut and has not been opened for years. Looks like the existing putty/ beads need removing and new putty/ beads replaced to reglaze in glass. Glass is thin single glazed. Return visit for painting not required as an do this myself. Initially looking for idea of cost with a view to getting work done in the next 2 weeks.
Good reasonably priced work with, prompt service.

Many problems with my installation and 20 months on Green still haven't resolved them. The lead flashing was not properly finished in our 2nd storey dormer, leaving our roof space open to rain and insects. An independent tradesman confirms this is causing a water leak in the flat below. A window was installed that could not openes more than an inch due to an obstruction not being identified while measurements were taken. Foam sealant is protruding from our front window and looks ugly. Very dissapointing.
