Updated : I believe this should cost about £150 as I had one a couple of years ago Original : one of my replacement windows has misted up and I need a new one fitted. It is approx 3.5ft by 2.5 ft
Ben arrived promptly and did what he said he would do. Unfortunately he told me that the parts I needed (springs for double glazed sash windows) were really expensive and the tool for tensioning them ( I asked him if I could get one to re-tension the springs myself) was also expensive. After he left I went online and found that I could get the springs for less than £50 and the tool came free with the springs. This meant that ben had charged me more than £250 for 50 minutes work. I won't be using him again.

Paul replaced the guttering, facia and downpipe to my conservatory. The job was competitively priced, looks good and they took away the rubbish. During the past few weeks we have had quite a bit of rain. The angle of the guttering must be correct since the rain is running away freely. Based on my experience I would certainly recommend him to friends and family.

Large window opens from bottom, metal slides plastic windows, one arm that slides the window in and out is bent so it still slides but doesnt sit straight so when i close the window, (the arm that is bent is stopping the window from sitting squarely in the frame),
Quick, professional, amiable, tidied up before they left, turned up on time, didnt even drink tea!! Recommended if you want an honest profesional job.

The doors are double doors with the door which is locked stuck locking up to the other door The lock/opening mechanism it self is one where you lift the handle and it unlocks all down the side of the door with various catches and bolts. I've no idea what this is called but it's pretty secure stuff.
Dave was excellent. A very friendly man who knew his stuff. He worked late to accommodate my hours, did no damage to the door which was firmly locked shut and completed the work as he described, on time and at a fair price I will certainly recommend him to those who need a quality locksmith

The bottom hinge of UPVC window broke and apparently this cannot be repaired - the whole window frame needs changing? Anyway, I need someone who will cut the twisted bit of metal at the top still holding to the window frame, put sealant/strong glue all around the frame and put the window back in place to prevent the wind and rain coming into my kitchen.
