Sash cord has broken on one side of window - needs replacing
Dean and his Assistant arrived a few minutes before the appointed time.
They were both very pleasant and polite.
The sash cord was replaced and the job completed in just over 45 minutes.
I would use Dean / London 24hr Glazing again should the need arise.
Looking to have a small garden room built of the kitchen. There are already 3 walls so all that is needed is a roof and 1 wall. Roof needs to be in triple wall polycarbonate sheeting (or similar) and projects 3m with a width of 2,5m. The wall is 2,5m wide and should have constantina doors (double glazed) over the full lenght or similar system if possible.
The entire process (from quoting to installation) was professional and straightforward with good communication and very friendly and considerate installers. And the lean-too looks absolutely great.
roof terrace door (pvc-alluminium) needs to be re-aligned or otherwise replaced. A good maintenance work is required on frame, lock and possibly hinges - we are also considering installing a door closer or stopper. glass window right next to door needs to be replaced. The door is a single door and the glass window to be replaced is the same size as the door. tradesman needs to know what is doing - has to provide material required, in the case the door needs to be replaced. A prior visit is necessary to assess the job and to provide a better idea of the costs and turn-around time required. However, this is a fairly urgent job.
The job was replacing a door and window.
Coming into central London to quote the job on a horrible snowy Sunday morning was highly appreciated! John was enthusiastic about getting the business and subsequently did a good job within the time agreed.
We would use him again or recommend him.

I would like a large Georgian sash window at the front of the building, which is now a glass door that opens straight into the living room. Replacing the door with a window would give the room back it's intimate feel and allow furniture to go where the door once was. I would then like a door installed into the side wall to this basement flat and would like this to be made from wood but it would need to be 2/3rd the size of a standard door width. Bedroom window is currently casement and I would like this replace with a sash window. And finally I have french windows that open onto a patio and these need to be replaced and provide adequate security. I can provide photos of all items mentioned.

I have 16 large single glaze window panels that I would like to replace with double glaze panels whilst keeping the original wooden frame

we have a window where the window frame is rotten and part of the window doesnt close anymore. The whole window would probably need to be replaced. it measures 1.20 x 2.20m approximately.
We live in an 1840s flat, and the original windows, whilst refurbished and generally well fitting, have draughts. We need someone to install something to minimise draughts
I have a set of double glazing that was installed 10 years ago. I want to alter the configuration - to move the door one section to the left. See pictures. Need an expert to do it.

Sash windows to be balanced again after years of being painted over. One of the windows has never opened from the top (to bottom) as I believe it has been either been painted in or, nailed secure ??? I would love to have them in working order... Another issue, the house needs repair and decorating after 16 years of neglect and it makes sense to do all together... ?
the wood part of the ledge is crumbling away, need advice and quote on whether to just replace the ledge or does the whole window needs replacing.
We would like someone to fix the three sash cords, fix some of the mechanism to make three windows close properly on 3 others (adjust weights and perhaps change cogs). We can repaint the wood on the windows.
