I need a Velux window installing in a ground floor sloping roof of a house extension. The price is to include all work (Plastering etc) including the window also. The work needs to start ASAP, ideally within 1 week.
I hired Bluu construction due to their competitive quote but am extremely sorry I ever let them into my home. The job was for a simple Velux window to be fitted to a single storey extension and the associated internal plasterwork. They repeatedly cancelled the job, turned up without ladders (using my bin to get in the roof) and took the money without finishing the job. They have ignored my calls to get in touch.The work is so substandard I am having to pay a professional to rectify it. STAY AWAY!

Replacing four windows (2 of 0.96x0.56m, 1 of 1.67x0.56m and 1 of 1.28x0.58m) and one set of french doors with new UPVC ones (doors are 1.37m wide and have a 0.36m window either side). Replacing two double glazed units 0.82x0.89m and 1.30*0.89m in existing windows.
They turned up on time, although the original date had to be changed due to an accident with one of the panes, cleaned up after themselves and the windows look great. They were significantly cheaper than all the other quotes we got too.

I have 2 windows that I would like replacing in my kitchen. Both windows are currently single glazed in wooden frames and I would like them replacing with double glazed units in white PVC frames.
Gary came out quickly and provided me with a no nonsense quote for the job, at a very competitive price. Within a week the windows were fitted and to an extremely high standard. When originally installed (before we bought the house) several of our windows were installed in an unusual way, with a PVC casing around the window and a cheap PVC window ledge. When we looked behind the PVC casing, there is fresh air and only one layer of brick. We are looking for someone to advise us on how to remedy this and whether we need a window specialist or a general builder. We would also like costing advice as we cannot decorate either room until the issues are resolved. Thanks!
