I have a two bedroomed terrace house and require quotes for fitting upvc windows x 4 - there will be the living room, dining room and two bedrooms to fit. Kitchen and bathroom already have new windows and I do not require a new door. The house will be rented out from 14th Jan so I would need the quotes in and work to be completed prior to that date if possible!

Have old upvc door that is letting major draft in at bottom and sides. The handle mechanism is also broken and locking door is a pain. Would like to refit door so drafts are gone and replace handle/lock. Or put a new door on which ever is cheaper.
Managed to fix problem for reasonable cost, pleasure to deal with.

I have a small Victorian middle terrace house in York (near the Knavesmire) with (mostly) traditional wooden sash windows . On each Sash the glass has been fitted badly, or the putty is coming away due to age and some of them are starting to look tatty or have been badly painted over the years. The upstairs window has a crack so needs new glass. I don’t think any need replacing, just some TLC. The front window sill is looking a little rotten, but otherwise the woodwork on each seems sound. I am unsure if I need a specialist in woodwork repair, a glazier or both. The house has two sash windows to the front (front room and upstairs bedroom), to the rear there is one in the lounge, a non-sash window in the utility room and large non sash unit in the kitchen which has been put in very badly! (these two are modern units that are single glazed). Also one sash in the upstairs bedroom and bathroom. Making a grand total of 7 windows in total. I am interested in getting quotes to make good and mend the windows to bring them back to there former glory.
Really great, he looked around all the windows and recommended a new sill in the front window and talked through how he would carry out the job. He came the next day and worked in the snow! Doing a fantastic job. I’m thrilled with the result, He also helped me with a few other bits on the day which was a fantastic help. I recommend these guys very highly.
