I'm not sure
window has been opened too far and safety catch has locked. Tennant tried to pull the window back in by force bending the hinge/bracket on the right and snapping the handle off. Please can the window be fixed or if necessary replaced. 1st floor bedroom window at front of house.
Job completed after a short wait for the window to be delivered/available. Work completed to a good standard and ADl were very flexible in collecting and droping off the keys for the property as it was empty at the time of the work.
one back door with glass panals would rather fix if possible, but would like information on costs and options, pros and cons before choosing wheather to replace. the top and middle hinge look ok but the botton one looks like the centre pin/screw is working its way up and out, it seems the more this happens the harder it is to close and i am now lifting it to close. the door is a plastic frame with glass panels top and bottom.
very happy with with this tradesman,
told me what the problem was straight away and i felt very knowladgeable about his trade. He did not try and talk me into the more exspensive option of a new door.
AND he did the job there and then!
FANTASTIC very happy to recommend this tradesman!!!

Problem uPVC door on conservatory - door won't shut
Main fix is to secure the door
The front bedroom window needs replacing as some of the metal workings from the pane that opens have come off. The tenants are really good and have had someone out to look at it already and they have been told that this particular window doesn't get made any more and it cannot be fixed. Always the way with uPVC windows! This will be the second window we have had fitted here in 2-3 years so we would also like some advice on choosing a more sturdy design perhaps to match the windows downstairs. Currently the middle third of the window is the opening part but as this has failed on 2 window units I would like to put in a window with 2 small openings at the top. The window dimensions are approximately 98cm by 58cm measured by the tenant.
Replacing all windows on house. Currently wooden frame, looking to get PVC frames with double glazing. Dimensions (all in mm): Window 1 = w1710 x h1300 Window 2 = w1720 x h1000 Window 3 = w1710 x h1000 Window 4 = w860 x h1000 Window 5 = w860 x h1000 Possibly Front Door

Back door part glazed plus frame may need cat flap fitting to bottom half if possible
I have 2 bedroom windows (external frame dimension in the region of 130cm drop by 180cm width) that have blown panes, I.e. they are constantly misted up with condensation. They are in a 70's built 3-bed semi that I am about to rent out and I need a quick, economical solution. I hope the frames can remain in situ. An idea of costs would be most appreciated, and if the quote seems fair, I would be looking to get the work done in the next 2 weeks. To aid your quote, photos of the house can be found on rightmove, where the house is currently up for rent at 595 pcm at post code BS6 6QZ. It's the two upstairs windows to the front of the house.
Remove one ground-floor timber kitchen window (size 1800mm wide x 1050mm high) and replace with a UPVC double glazed unit. House is in Basford, NG6.
need front downstairs window taking out and refitting, due to buying new sofa that wont fit into living room any other way
