Job To replace all windows and some doors with top quality extremely good rose wood effect exterior and white interior UPvc windows doors to a four bed cottage

Comment We had a lot of work to get done, new 1st floor beams and ceilings, 22 upvc windows, 4 sets of doors, plastering, wooden floor finishing and other bits and pieces. All had to be completed in 3 weeks, (for xmas). Had problems with sub-contractors and quality, but Mark came through and organised for all the work to be finished by 2 great guys, very professional, polite and a pleasure to have in our home, Thanks so much Simon and "Fish", a great job done, a little late but still in time for Xmas. Thanks Mark Phil

Comment PBR did an excellent job in installing new french doors. Good value, great product and a very tidy job. Took only 3 hours or so to remove old doors, install new and tidy up. Would recommend Juliette

Job To replace the following two windows with double glazing. 1 small bedroom window constructed of two windows of two panes each that extend out from the house to a point and contain coloured leaded glass top-lights. Two panes would be opening. 1 toilet window of two simple obscured glass panes, one of which would be opening. Nothing particularly unusual about the job. Although we have seen some poor coloured replacements in other houses on the street, so would require some reassurance.

Comment Overall, we are very happy with what Inspire have left us with. The job was undertaken by the owner and a colleague. It took around half a day to complete. They were extremely polite, efficient, tidy and careful (apart from one breakage, which they did offer to pay for). However, there was a problem with the porportions of the coloured leaded glass in one of the panes. To be fair to Inspire, they do not manufacture the units themselves. It was Inspire who spotted the problem and insisted on rectifying it, leaving us with a blank UPVC pane instead. There were then a number of other issues getting the correct units sourced and overall it has taken a few phone calls and several additional weeks before the job was finally completed this morning. Again, I would clarify that it appears that this was out of the hands of Inspire as they don't make the units. We were pretty relaxed about getting the correct units in place, but i could imagine that this might have been frustrating for someone under constraints to get it done sooner. So to not mention the delay would be misleading. To finish on a deserved high note, I would certainly use this company again, as we found them dilligent, honest and worked with integrity. But I would certainly advise them to find a different supplier (if they have not already done so). Things will go wrong from time to time and I would just as soon judge a company by how they perform when something goes wrong than when every is rosy. Sean

Budget I'm not sure

Job Plaster in the corner adjoining wall to window in conservatory is damaged by water. Need to repair damage and evaluate how extensive damage is. Conservatory needs to be resealed and made water tight. leaks from roof in other places.
