How did it all start?
Rated People was founded in 2005 by Andy Skipwith after a builder walked out half way through a home renovation project, leaving him and his family in the middle of a messy building site, and significantly out of pocket. Andy was determined to find a way to help other homeowners connect with professional, reliable tradespeople, and Rated People was born. Rated People is now the UK’s largest trade recommendation service, helping to connect over 15,000 people with expert tradespeople each month.
