Rated People Ambassadors
We're very proud to be working with the cream of the crop of the home improvement industry. Phil Spencer, Fiona Fullerton, Jonnie Irwin and Toby Buckland are all part of our ambassador stable and they will be providing useful tips and advice on the Rated People blog and Rated People TV. Read their bios below and click on their individual links to see what they've talked about so far.
Phil Spencer: Buy it
Phil Spencer doesn't need much of an introduction, he's TV's most well-known property presenter, having co-presented Location, Location, Location and Relocation, Relocation for over 10 years.
Phil started his property career as a surveyor, went on to work as an estate agent and then set up his own property search firm. Apart from a successful TV career, Phil has also written 2 property books and hosted a radio show on Classic FM in 2011.
Jonnie Irwin: Renovate it
There's not a property or renovation project under the sun Jonnie Irwin hasn't experienced. His hands on expertise comes from presenting a huge range of shows which include BBC's Escape to the Country, Wreck or Ready, C4's A Place in the Sun, home or away, The Renovation Game and UKTV's Make my home bigger.
In addition to his TV work, Jonnie writes a monthly column for A Place in the Sun magazine, presents their twice yearly exhibitions and works as a business and property consultant. If there's anyone who knows how to add value to a property, it's Jonnie.
Fiona Fullerton: Rent it
Property expert, writer, TV presenter and former actress - Fiona Fullerton's career is as varied as it is impressive. With the property column Ask Fiona in The Mail on Sunday, she was nominated as "Property Journalist of the Year" in 2004. She has also had her own column in the Daily Telegraph and has contributed features to the Daily Mail and the Sunday Times, to mention but a few.
Fiona has a portfolio of flats, houses and offices in London and Oxford, which she also manages. She'll be sharing her extensive knowledge of the property world on the Rated People blog.
Toby Buckland: Plant it
Known primarily as the TV presenter of Gardeners' World, Toby Buckland is now focusing on his online nursery where he sells his own range of products, including flowers, herbs and shrubs.
As a trained horticulturist, Toby has written 5 gardening books and he also regularly contributes to a handful of magazines and newspapers, such as The Guardian and The English Garden. In 2008 Toby won the RHS Gold and Best in show for his Ethical Garden at Gardeners' World Live.
