The steps to follow

Note:
There are two ways to install window blinds: Blinds mounted inside the windows or outside on window frames.

1. Determine where you want to mount the blinds.
2. There are two separate methods for measuring a blind so choose one way and follow the corresponding steps outlined below.

3.a. Measuring the window for inside mounted blinds:
a. Measure the width of the inside of the window at the top, middle, and bottom.
b. Take the smallest of these measurements as the width of the window.
c. Next, measure the height of the inside of the window at the left, middle, and right.
d. Take the largest measurements as the height for the new blind.

3.b. Measuring the window for outside mounted blinds:
a. Measure the width of the window frame at the top, middle, and bottom.
b. Use the smallest width measurement of the window frame for the blinds.
c. Next, measure the height of the window frame at the left, middle, and right.
d. Take the largest measurement of the window frame height for the height of the blinds.

4. Now that you have your measurements, you're now ready to buy your set of blinds; please note they may need to be made-to-order. Put the blinds up to the window frame. With a pencil, mark at the end of the head- rail to show where the brackets will be attached.
5. Position the brackets at your first pencil mark and then mark-off the position of each screw hole. The brackets normally have two screw holes.
6. Use an electric power drill to drill holes.
7. Insert and tighten screws through the brackets.

Note:
For wider blinds, centre support brackets are included with your blinds. Attach the centre support bracket in between the left and right bracket.

8. Mount the blinds on the brackets and snap valance clips to the front of the head rail.
