Fitting sinks 'the job of a tradesman'

People should call on plumbers in Leicester or other parts of the UK if they want to fit a new toilet or sink in their home.

This is because, according to Barbara K in an article for the New York Post, this is a job that should only be attempted by professional tradesmen.

The expert explained that a simple task - such as fitting a new tap - can be carried out by DIY enthusiasts.

However, only licensed plumbers should undertake anything that involves large fixtures or connections that may lead to leaks.

Another job that requires a professional is tiling, Barbara continued.

She stated that "a small tiling job ... is a simple DIY project, but re-tiling a kitchen or bathroom floor or entryway can be too challenging for a novice".

Speaking to the Independent recently, creative director of Bathrooms International Cheryl Gurner claimed sinks with corner units can free up space and allow people to move through the room with ease.
