Security specialists 'required in Doncaster'

It has been found that Doncaster is one of the riskiest places in which to live.A survey by Virgin Money has revealed that Doncaster, Sheffield and Nottingham all suffer from relatively high risks of burglary and criminal damage, while also facing increased flood risk.
Grant Bather, spokesman at the organisation, says the criteria used provides a guide to how safe houses are, rather than the people living in these locations.
The statistics do not mean that these three areas are unsafe or dangerous to live, but there are higher risks in those areas.
"There is no need to have nightmares," he advises, adding that security specialists can create peace of mind.
"Householders can take action to improve the safety of their houses with simple steps such as improving locks and installing burglar alarms," he explains.
According to reformed burglar Michael Fraser, speaking on behalf of AlertMe.com, criminals really do avoid houses that have an alarm system fitted.
