Spring 'the time to tidy up gardens'
Edited by Jacqueline Farrer
There are a number of tasks home owners may call upon gardeners in Glasgow and other areas of the UK to carry out now that spring is approaching.
According to editor of Built It magazine Anna-Marie DeSouza, this is the perfect time to start preparing the space for the coming months.
She recommended installing new sections of guttering if it has been damaged by adverse weather over the winter months.
Similarly, the outside space should be cleared and new trellises or wooden fences can be purchased, Ms. DeSouza continued.
"It is also the planting season, so any new vegetable crops or seeds will need to be purchased and planted outside over the next few months," the expert continued.
Spring could be a busy time for professional gardeners
, as Ms. DeSouza stated at the end of February that this is when people begin planning big projects to get their property looking perfect ready for the arrival of summer.
