Bathrooms job in LE12

Bob was very professional when quoting, but extremely unprofessional from the first day of the job. He was supposed to come with the plasterer on the first day, but the plasterer arrived alone and said Bob 'had to be somewhere else.' I could have forgiven him for that but, on his own admission, he did not give the full details of the job to the plasterer. I found this quite unbelievable! As a result the ceiling was not boarded over before it was skimmed. After I complained about this Bob did knock some money off the price, but that was the least he could do and I would have preferred the job to have been done properly. The tradesmen were very good, except for the tiler. He left about a 2 inch gap between the top tile and the ceiling and said he could not tile that bit as the celing was uneven. Basically he could not be bothered to cut the tiles and the gap was covered with coving which I didn't really want. The tiler also thought it was ok to dump the spare grout on the front garden when he had finished. He also got grout between some of the laminate flooring, as this had been laid before the tiling was done. Sealant was also dropped in several places in the basin and I mentioned this to Bob who came out and then said he had removed it, but he didn't. The job was supposed to take a week but took 2 weeks and a day. Bob didn't keep us informed of the reasons for the delay until after the job had finished. I also had trouble getting Minor Works Certificates for the 3 lights fitted and the new shower. I think I would not have got these if I had not asked for them. After the job had finished it took over 2 weeks for the lights certificate to be issued and a further 5 weeks for the shower certificate to be issued, after several requests. The project was very badly 'managed' by Bob and I definitely will not use this company again!

Plumbing job in NG9

Bob was very helpful and did a great job fitting a new shower and basin taps. He turned up when he said he would and we never felt rushed. He took the trouble to work out how to fit the shower we wanted (on a tiled panel at the end of the bath) rather than trying to talk us into an easier option. He came back out when we had a small drip on the new tap. I gave him one less star for reliability because we asked if he could replace a plumbed in scale cartridge but we still haven't got a price for this after a couple of reminders.

Plumbing job in NG4

I was so pleased with the original quote and quality of workmanship that plumbing in a bath turned into a complete new bathroom with central heating servicing / gas safety certificates. All work completed to current building regulations
