A winter scene St Leonards Grange,New Forest we 
cut and pitched this roof which 
was very interesting.
degree pitch, and the architect wanted it to look 
ancient and wavy so we had to fix extra 
battens on top of  the rafters!
A small cottage with reed for a thatch roof.We 
worked very closely with this thatcher who in our 
opion is one of a kind.
The cottage is flint built with an oak framed 
construction.
One of the fire damaged properties we had the 
pleasure of reinstating back to its former glory.
It is a listed  cottage completly burnt out,we 
completly renovated it with new heating,lath and 
lime plaster with horse hair,new thatch
The finished cottage,traditional English bond 
brickwork,new chimney,windows where possible 
were refurbished others were made using old 
patterns.Thatch roof was grown locally,it has the 
traditional shaggy look.
This wall was completly burnt out,the reclaimed oak 
was carefully selected and fitted to lean with the 
original,split lath and hydraulic lime were used to 
finish the panels of.
The main bath suite completely fitted with new oak 
doors and heritage door furniture.
The burnt out frame completely ravaged by fire.
This is the start of converting an Victorian detached 
house in Portsmouth.This old tired conservatory 
was taken down and replaced with a new hardwood 
one.Inside of the property was also developed by 
removing load bearing walls.
Heavy steel propping brought in to hold this very 
heavy building up.
Needles being lifted,these go through the wall and 
are in turn held up by the dead shores.
Railway bridge size steel beams designed by 
structural engineers.

The new sun room with traditional slate roof,brick 
wall,under floor heating throughout
The new aspect,old walls gone,floor down,kitchen 
in,we then went onto to build a new study,walk in 
wet room.
The old parquet floor which had damage and 
heating ducts cut into it.We completely sanded it 
using a special sander as not to damage it.It was 
sealed and oiled using carefully selected oils
We refurbished this cottage which
had no porch so we designed one for the client and 
on his approval we built this using traditional 
mortice and peg tenons with hand made roof 
tiles,hogs ridges and reclaimed bricks

This triple sliding door originally had a window 
here,we took it out and fiited new steels a reused 
the old bricks to blend the it all in
New electric underfloor heating fitted by one of our 
electricians
The new kitchen,walls taken down,new electrics and 
plumbing.
Completed new roof to an extension,clay tiles with 
hog back hips and ridges.
New doors leading into a new conservatory,with 
inset light,underfloor heating and oak flooring.
Walk in shower,all new plumbing,underfloor 
heating,lighting and extraction.A new limestone 
floor and glass tiles to finish of.
The client instructed us to build this extension,the 
original cottage was a two up and two down.We 
built a further two 
bedrooms,lounge,study,downstairs toilet,laundry 
room,upstairs bathroom and a boiler room.
