Flooring job in HU17
I employed Allwood Floors in January to do 40m2 of flooring comprising of old and new pine. Agreement was to colour match both adjoining floors. They made out that they had a close working relationship with a specialised dye manufacturer and they could match any shade. On day 3 they presented me with 3 choices of which none was not anywhere close. They promised to graduate the floors into each other after the work had finished. I am still waiting 10 months later. Phone calls go unanswered, messages are ignored. Some half hearted attempts were made to find a solution, but no luck. They tried lifting floor boards but they can't even manage that. Now, floor fixings under the varnish have started to show rust and in one area the varnish has started to come off. I can't recommend Allwood Floors as they make false promises and take your money but happily ignore you afterwards if you need them to come back.

Carpentry & joinery job in NE22
Excellent service from really nice lads. Paul came do do the estimate when he said he would, gave no bull and explained everything for us. We ended up having hall done at the same time. Turned up on time to do the job and although they had to come back for a couple of small snags overall the job is beautiful. Would definitely recommend them, in fact have already done so, and would use them again
