Matt came to measure up for central heating system. Very friendly, likeable chap who seemed to know what he was talking about - that was 9 days ago - still not had quote! Quote had been sent,explained to customer that it came to light after her rating that there was an issue with the broadband provider.The quote was resent to Carolyn the day that the problem arose.We have since found that on 4 more occasions customers have not received their quote despite them being sent to correct email addresses. The matter is being addresses with the broadband provider. Apologies to Carolyn
Matt has explained problem with ISP which was unfortunate shame. However, not following up quote for over a week, is still not acceptable in my book. Quote was competitive with others I received, so good chance I would have used Aspire - I would give him opportunity to quote again though. Seems like a good honest guy.
I appreciate Carolyn's comment regarding follow up of quote, however it is difficult to get the balance right with every customer, if you follow up the quote too quickly it can appear pushy. In my experience with plumbing and heating work the majority of customers who have given feedback prefer to have a follow up a week after the week has been sent.
