Plastering & rendering job in SK4

Great job done as quoted and for a competitive price. Andy worked really hard and stayed late to get the job done in time after having to work round another of our tradesmen. Cleaned up after himself and the finished room looks great. Will definitely hire again. Thanks Andy.

Images of Our Work

In this photo, the customer attempted to remove the wooden baton around the edge of her ceiling bay window, which resulted in making a small hole in the ceiling.
The house is over 70 years old, so the ceiling wasn't the conventional plaster board, it was a thick undercoat that was removed.
After removal it was time to re-board ceiling. It was not straight forward as the ceiling next to the wall was one inch higher then at the window. So the plaster board had to be dampened slightly and manipulated into positon.
Finally, the skim coat was done which resulted in a nice smooth finish ready to paint when fully dry.
In this photo the customer wanted the exposed brick work in her utility room to be plastered.
An undercoat was applied then a skim coat.
The customer in this photo wanted the bedroom window wall skimming. You can't see in the photo, but there is cracks in the wall and around the window.
There was several wall plugs to remove which brought some of the wall out with them.
So here is the final result after skimming.
The wall will be ready to paint within 48hrs from this photo.
This is a small ensuite ceiling that needed skimming as the paint was falling of it
After skimming the customer had a nice flat smooth ceiling ready to paint once it had dried.
In these next 10 pictures it shows a utility room which needed dot & dabbing then skimming. The corner near the boiler was missing bricks and was uneven so was not straight forward in repairing.
A strip of the ceiling had to be put in as well.
Two corners had to be made up from scratch.
Uneven corner.
After dot & dab.
The other side of utility room after dot & dab.

A perfect corner after skimming.
Another very satisfied customer, after the work was completed.
In this picture the customer took off the plaster down to the brick work as it was damp from a leak from the roof. Once the roof had been repaired,I put a waterproof and breathable undercoat plaster onto the wall.
The undercoat provides a totally waterproof barrier, without the need for a membrane. It seals and prevents the ingress of water either side of the plaster while remaining vapour and air-permeable, allowing trapped moisture to evaporate.
The customer in these pictures had already had a damp membrane (tanking)applied to the front wall below the window.
It needed dot & dabbing before angle beads them skimming.
Before I started work on the house.
It was two large rooms that needed skimming, and skimming over two artex ceilings.
There was also an archway to skim.
The whole job took 3 days to do.
And here is the living room finished.
The customer was very pleased and couldn't wait until it was ready to paint.
This job needed the old plaster taking off the wall.
After old plaster is taken off, it was ready to plasterboard.
Plasterboard applied.
Then finally ready to be skimmed.
In this photo the kitchen needed skimming over artex walls and ceilings, and angle beads putting in the side walls.
It was a mess before I started to repair it.
Both sides had to be done. This through way used to be an archway, but the customer decided to get rid and have a square shape through way.
End result is perfect, and will be ready to paint in a few days time.
Typical bedroom with patching up to do before skimming.
And after when room is finished.
These pictures are of a large extension that needed skimming upstairs and downstairs.
Upstairs.
Downstairs.
And after the electrician had been putting the lights in.
The extension was for a doctor, and he was extremely happy with the completed job.
