We weren't happy with the overall quality, preparation or finish of the painting and decorating job done in our house, which meant we didn't ask Gerry to come back and finish the last 2 rooms. Wood work was not prepped at all for painting, meaning a few weeks later it was looking grubby. Paint was splashed over many of our belongings...radiators, floor, light switches, door handles and furniture, which was not rectified. The paint job itself was also subject to patches missed and lines not being straight.

I am sorry to hear of the customer's dissatisfaction. This negative rating is the first received. I worked on this job 9 months ago and fitted in with the customer's work schedules which unfortunately meant it was impossible in the time allotted to complete the snagging on the work I had carried out. I fully expected to be able to do this when I completed the remaining rooms on my return to the property as and when requested by the customer. I will now contact them directly to arrange to do this.

Timing was not an issue. Unfortunately quality of the work was. We since were able to find someone we were much happier with, who did proper preparation and did not ruin our belongings by getting paint on them.

Gerry was fantastic throughout. He helped me sourcing other tradespeople and his workmanship was excellent. Will recommend him to anyone who applies!

We would highly recommend Gerry. Gerry gave his full attention to this job and was here on time everyday and spoke to us every day about progress. He finished on time. The quality of decorating was very good to a high finish. Our house was left clean and tidy every day. He also made friends with our cat.

Would 100% book Gerry for more work. Reliable and punctual and did excellent work. Really nice to have around and quality was brilliant. Very Tidy, would highly recommend. A bit more expensive than my other quote, but quality worth paying for.
