I've been a bricklayer for 29 years. I've only been registered self-employed since January 2011 after beening made redundant from a compant I had been with for 22 years. I do all different types of jobs from bricklaying i.e. building concervatory bases, extentions, walls etc. I also do roof work, repointing, concreting, slabbing, plastering, tiling, fitting bathrooms, dot and dabing etc, etc, etc. Infact there is not much I don't do. I am a one man band but do know other tradesmen who can do jobs I can't.

Tiling job in NG19

Drn builders have just finished tiling my kitchen . The work was to a very high standard ,done on time and a clean and tidy job . Dale was professional and friendly and I would recommend dale to any one requiring a good local builder .. Mr jones..

Tiling job in DE7

Was late on first morning and didn't have decency to call. Put some patterned tiles on upside down which had to be replaced. Tried to leave 12mm gaps in corners filled with grey grout which looked appaling and made me feel like I was being too demanding when I insisted he make the work good. Beading not cut squarely and grout wiped all underneath my kitchen cupboards. Quoted a day an half to complet which ended up being 2 days and a further 4 hours over two evenings. I felt that at every step of the job Dale was trying to make things easier for himself rather than trying to achieve the finish and look that I had envisaged. Do not have this man to do tiling in your house. I guess I paid a "reasonable" price for "reasonable" workmanship. I won't make that mistake again!
