Gardening & garden design job in BN2

Might have been better if the panels had been painted before they were put up. Plus it would have looked better if the panels were all hung the same way up.

Images of Our Work

This hardwood decked garden is out
in Patcham. The decking was an
effective way to overcome the
sloping garden and meets the lawn
coming from the house.
White cotswold aggregate was used
to create a path through the
plants. The stones also acted
suppressed the weeds, making the
garden low maintenance.
Front garden in Hove. This was
overgrown with shrubs that
blocked out the light and there
was an old concrete patio. We
removed the shrubs, they were
beyond revitalizing but we were
able to reuse the concrete as
hardcore.
The block paving leads from the
path. The planting drapes over on
to the paving, giving the garden a
rustic feel.
Before photo of this garden shows
that is was completely unsuitable
for the family that lived here.

Turfing a sloped garden in
Hollingbury. You can see sleeper
steps on the right hand side to
allow access from the raised patio.
Sleeper steps descending to the
garden,
We used rammed earth tyres at this
house in Hollingbury to retain the
garden. This was cost effective
aswell as being environmentally
friendly
During the turfing stage. We use
boards to spread our weight over
the turf so as not to damage it.
Before picture of the terraced
garden. What a sight! The family
called us in to make their garden
usable.
Construction of steps, leading to
the first terraced area
During construction of terraced
levels.
First terraced level. Sleepers are
used to retain.
Granite Patio with retaining wall
supporting a 'floating. hardwood
bench. Ideal area to entertain!
Rockery with grasses.
Planting designed to enclose the
area.
Terraced levels to make the garden
functional. Lawn is turfed to
provide an instant play area.
A midsection for planting.

These oak steps were installed into
this garden to lead up to the top
level. Planting was added
afterwards by an outside contractor
to soften the impact of the
structures.
The flint walls look great and as
it ages along with the steps they
will really compliment one another
Oak sleepers provide a raised
border to plant
These sweeping curved slate paths
lead you through the planting.
The garden was planted up by the
client and were asked to install
the paths.
The contemporary trellis really
gives the fence character aswell as
giving climber something to aim
towards.

A close-board fence in Ovingdean.
Another sloped garden! Again timber
steps are a great solution to
overcome level changes.
Timber planters provide areas to
plant.
