Sylwester is charming but left my home in a terrible state. The entire roof needs to be redone at huge cost to me - the roof tiles move in the wind and have been incorrectly fitted, flashings incorrect and felt not sealed etc. Boiler faulty and left unsafe. Wanted payment in advance and did not complete the jobs. He kept on saying 'Trust me.' Unfortunately I did. He is an excellent salesman, but does not keep his promises. A square hole was cut in my brand new carpet and damage caused to my property.

Internal Renovation / Reconfiguration
Sylvester and his team converted my flat from one to two bedroom. This included fitting a bathroom, moving 3 walls, taking down and refitting the ceilings etc. He was very approachable at all times and nothing was too much trouble for him. The workmanship is to an extremely high quality, and safety was always in the front of his mind. I didn't know Sylvester before, I got his details from Rated People. He's a really good find and have recommended him to friends and if I need anymore building work done I would want him to do it. Overall a quality job at the right price with really hard working, nice builders.

Loft Conversion
Sylwester and his team proved to be thorough and reliable. They were not daunted by gravity or bad weather, by unclear drawings or the dreaded Buildings Inspector, but carried on with the dirty and difficult work of converting my loft. They maintained a cheerful attitude even when unforeseen problems occurred and they always found an acceptable solution. I would say that No.1 Services is a trustworthy business and I would be happy to use them again. Sylwester was obliging and accommodating towards my every last request and I am very pleased with the finished work. It is attention to detail which matters to me, I am quite an exacting customer, so I recommend this business because their high standards matched mine.
