Tiling job in PE9

He called round and gave a quote very quickly, and although I did not book him because he could not fit me in early enough, I would recomend him for his prompt call back with texts and phone call.

Constructed boxing at the end of the bath this will later be tiled.
Here you can see the new bath has gone in with the fresh plaster drying out nicely
This can happen quite often when removing wall tiles that old plaster behind can fall away and is often best to remove it all and start fresh. In the case of this job all the walls were reboarded and replastered.
Removing tiles
An old lime coloured bath with yellow and white tiles.I could not wait to get stuck into this.
A really nice functional bathroom.Simple tiles nice choice of border
Another example of what can happen when trying to remove old tiles from walls. In this case the walls were dabbed with plaster board and when putting pressure behind tiles agains the wall the tools can very often break through the boards.
Continued from image 15.
As you can see i removed all the old damaged plasterboards, renewed with new ones and tiled.
Removed old bathroom suite and wall tiles.Typically the tiles brought off the plaster from the bricks behind.
See images 17 to 22 for the complete job.
This was the end result. As often happens reboarded the walls re plastered and tiled. Large gloss white with a green glass boarder.
In this area there is going to be a new shower enclosure. The chase you can see out the brickwork at the back will be where the water feed pipe will be fitted for the new electric shower.Continued on image 21.
In this image you can see the pipe works are in place to take the new suite. These all have to be measured and fixed quite precise ready for connection. The two pipes on the left are for a small towel warmer,The middle pipes are for the basin
Continued from image 19.
The tray will be fitted onto a timber frame to allow an adequate fall for the water waste.
Here is the end result for the fitted shower enclosure.By putting the water feed in the wall there are no pipes on show
This is the finished picture from image 20.There was alot of work involed in this bathroom to bring it all together. You can see the pipeworks emerging from the wall for the towel warmer and the other pipewoks concealed with a semi pedestal
Another dated bathroom that was looking for some tlc.
See image 30 for the before and after.
The old bath area
Back to wall toilet and chrome towel warmer.
A chrome bar mixer shower with large rain head and seperate hose fitted onto a modern gloss black 600x200mm tile giving the affect of individual 50mm boarder style tiles.
Hear again you can see the fitted shower over the p shape bath. These baths give that extra room for taking a comfy shower. You can also see the neatly fitted curved bath pannel.
The same black tiles are used to create a focal point behind this modern flat chrome towel warmer.I was able to alter the pipe works and bring them out exactly were they need to be eliminating ugly looking pipe work in a beutifull bathroom
Just a cracking finish.
I sugested to the customer about putting one of the black tiles on top of this boxing and the window cill,it was a great idea an really worked well with the rest of the room. They used a chrome edging trim on corners
This image you can see how well the black tiles work on the boxing top and window cill with the rest of the room the chrome edging trim on the corners the black floor tiles and even the lead work in the window pains all help the finish look
The same customer as the previos images also had a downstairs wc and basin fitted.I tiled in the archway and window cill with the same tiles as used up stairs and it looks really affective with the small sqaure washand basin fitted on top
Hear you can see we used a large plain white tile with mosaics to border the full height mirror center border and the width of the basin
kitchen wall tiles, 3 diffirnt shades of the same tile mixed and matched. All shades accent an area of the kithen for example the unit doors and worktop
This is the same kitchen with under cupboard lights on
This is a conservatory which was just bare blockwork when we arrived. We dot and dabbed the blockwork with plasterboards and plastered them ready for painting, we also fitted the skirting boards.
This is the same coservatory diffirent veiw
Plastered walls ready for painting.
Like all our jobs we leave the site clean and tidy when we finish
This is another one of those pictuers that allow you to see the size of this job
