DIY is something that should always be left to the experts.
Graham Henry, writing for the Western Mail, observed that men who do not have sufficient knowledge are better off not attempting their own home improvement projects and instead builders in Cardiff may be called upon.
He noted as his “lack of skills has been shown up in a most unflattering light”, he would rather let a professional complete a task than run the risk of something going wrong.
“I don’t know how to change a fuse [and] removing a radiator would lead to astonishing damage to the area around it,” Mr Henry observed.
He continued by saying that people should not feel ashamed if they are not handy around house, instead merely accept it and move on.
It comes after a recent report by uSwitch.com found that nearly 60 per cent of Britons are interested in making green home improvements, with 44 per cent looking to do so to save money.
