Go green for St.Patrick’s Day

The apple green interior trend is set to go a long way this year, and with St.Patrick’s Day around the corner, why not inject some green styles into your house? Pantone announced that Tangerine Tango is the hue of the year, but trend analysts forecast that green will be the colour of impact in 2013. Do you dare?

This armchair/sofa from Branca Lisboa is a real colour injection, and with its double cushions, it looks comfortable too! The sofa would best be placed in a corner or it can also act as a divider in an open planned living room (separating dining table with TV area). Place a floor lamp next to it and you’ve created a cosy reading corner.

The stackable drawers by Established and Sons might be monochrome lover’s worst nightmare, but they would definitely complement a minimalist white interior. Don’t underestimate space saving furniture, it’s key for keeping the clutter away.

This green delicacy is 100% recyclable and made of cardboard, so very eco-friendly. The design is especially well-suited for magazines and books, and other knick knacks that you might want to display. Presumably, it should be really light to move too.

Update any dreary tea towels in the kitchens with this lime green pattern from Lush Designs. The London-based brand are known for their quirky prints and if this is your cup of tea, you’ll be pleased to hear they produce lamp shades and pillowcases too.
