Home owners hiring plumbers in Preston and other UK cities are going to be looking for professional tradesmen, it has been suggested. Blane Judd, chief executive at the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering, said customers are after value added services, as well as an accurate quote. These are more likely to be obtained when individuals work with professionals who are qualified and registered, Mr. Judd continued. He suggested that plumbers would be able to offer those hoping to save a few pennies tips on reducing water and fuel consumption. “It is down to the fact that we should be responsible with regards to who we employ to do the work on our premises,” the expert added.
Mr. Judd also said professionals can provide a few handy hints on how to stop washing machines and dishwaters from polluting the environment.
These comments come after research conducted by Hycote revealed 90 per cent of people would not use a tradesperson if their van was in poor condition.
