November ‘is an important month for gardeners’

Britons might be wise to hire gardeners in Bristol during November, as the month is a vital one in terms of horticulture.

The Telegraph has published its gardening calendar for the eleventh month of the year, noting it is one when there is typically a lot of work to be done.

Homeowners must prepare their lawns, flowers and shrubbery for the bleakest period of the year and ensure they are in the best possible state to withstand the elements.

According to the newspaper, people should “tuck up their plants cosily” and give them a final trim before the depths of winter are reached.

November is also the perfect time to clear up a garden, as any scrap wood and other belongings can be thrown on the bonfire.

Abigail Owens, design director at Carolyn Parker Interior Design, recently recommended building conservatories in order to create a prime spot for watching over the garden and admiring its beauty.
