Plasterers and other local tradesmen could be in demand by Britons, after new research showed that despite the current economic climate, a fifth of people have spent more than £1,000 improving their home over the past year.
The survey by Mira Showers revealed that 40 per cent of Britons have spent £500 or more, which could include paying for a painter and plasterer to improve their property’s interior.
