Over 1,000,000 jobs are posted on our site every year by ambitious homeowners looking to improve their homes and over 50,000 tradespeople use us to find work, grow their reputation and expand their business. It\u2019s something we\u2019re proud of, but we\u2019re not stopping there. We\u2019ve got one mission and that\u2019s to connect good homeowners to good tradespeople to help deliver better homes, better work and better lives.<\/p>\n<h3>A makeover for our site and apps<\/h3>\n<p>Our site and apps have been given a lick of paint to make them even easier to use. You\u2019ll notice new app names and icons that have come hot on the heels of us rolling out new features. Put simply, we\u2019ve tackled the plumbing and made the whole process smoother \u2013 explaining things better wherever we can. For example, for cleaners, we\u2019ve changed how jobs are categorised by splitting up our <em>Domestic house cleaning<\/em> option into three:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Domestic house cleaning: one off<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Domestic house cleaning: regular<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>End of tenancy<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is just a quick example of how we&#8217;re helping tradespeople to find the work they\u2019re really interested in and encouraging homeowners to be specific about what they need.<\/p>\n<h3>A brand new logo<\/h3>\n<p>On our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ratedpeople.com\/\">homepage,<\/a> the first thing you\u2019ll notice is a cleaner logo. It was important\u00a0to make the transition to a new identity as smooth as possible for you. That meant making sure you could still recognise us! But that&#8217;s just for starters&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re looking for some design ideas\u00a0\u2013 we&#8217;ve got an area dedicated to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ratedpeople.com\/blog\/category\/inspiration\/\">Inspiration<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Our new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ratedpeople.com\/blog\/category\/community\/\">Community<\/a> section is focused on bringing our homeowners and tradespeople together through\u00a0great articles, personal stories and behind-the-scenes life at Rated People. And if you\u2019re interested in how we view our industry and the challenges we face, you\u2019ll find posts from our CEO and other members of our senior management team in the <em>Leadership<\/em>\u00a0section. It\u2019s right around the corner \u2013 we\u2019re just applying the finishing touches.<\/p>\n<h3>Added value for our tradespeople<\/h3>\n<p>As a tradesperson, membership gives you access to thousands of job leads every month but we wanted to give you something that\u2019s valuable even when your diary\u2019s full and you\u2019re not looking for leads.<\/p>\n<p>We now have two types of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ratedpeople.com\/account\/member-benefits\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">member benefits<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>One is included with every basic membership plan and gives you discounts on things like insurance and vans.<\/p>\n<p>The second is member benefits premium \u2013 a reward for our members signing up, from today, to one of our annual plans.
