Graham Barnard, owner of the firm, said that some people “want a modern kitchen, but worry that it will not work in their period home, so water down their designs”. However, he advised against doing this as such renovations can be expensive and added that people should decide what they want and realise it when redecorating kitchens.<\/p>\n

Regarding kitchen design<\/a> trends, the specialist said that he expects to see warmer and more sophisticated styles coming into fashion, such as “shiny surfaces, cool greys [and] warm woods”.\u00a0Another kitchen style becoming more popular is taupe, according to interior designer George Bond, who described it as “absolutely fantastic” in such spaces.<\/p>\n
